We helped write the book on transit planning in Florida.
  • Tindale Oliver played a prominent role in the development of both the original and updated FDOT Guidance for Producing a Transit Development Plan (August 2009). In particular, Tindale Oliver developed the TDP financial planning analysis tool for FDOT as part of this effort.

  • Identified that the time is right to transition from a dial-a-ride transit system to a fixed-route bus system.
  • Documented the transportation needs of older adults that comprise nearly 40% of the population in Charlotte County.
  • Recognized the transportation challenges created by natural geographic barriers in Charlotte County.
  • Facilitated meaningful public outreach that impacted the project outcomes.
